Built to withstand the toughest of environments, the Tsunami will certainly turn heads, on and off road! Offering amazing convenience with ZERO set up time, this camper is perfect for the quick 1 nighter, a long weekend, or extended traveling across this amazing and expansive land of ours.
Camper Trailer or Caravan? Why not have the best of both worlds! Like a traditional tent trailer, you have a light, compact store at home camper with the best outdoor kitchen, but the added caravan benefits of being completely lockable, having a very comfortable queen size bed (with 5” foam or 6” innerspring mattresses), doors on both side for access (so you aren’t climbing over each other), easy setup (aka none), an insulated roof, and can even have air conditioning if you want it, although we include 2 Sirocco II fans as standard equipment.
Because of its small footprint, you can camp in places others can’t, and be set up as soon as you arrive. Now you can set up camp in the dark… No tent = No problems!

As the Tsunami is the largest teardrop style camper in the class, we can offer more storage. More in the galley where it really counts, as well as now there is a huge locker at the forward end of the queen size bed (built outside but accessed from inside) as well as to the rear of the cabin.

Timbren “Axleless” suspension?
No two people are the same nor are their needs for suspensions. It all depends on where you want to go? The Beach, the bush or all around Australia?
At Riptide Campers we give you the option of ride height with Timbren's Award Winning Axleless suspension. The Tsunami can be ordered with 2 different height Timbren suspensions. The standard height is perfectly paired for the SUV market – Subaru Forester/Outback, RAV4 etc. For more clearance add a 4” lift for more adventures.
The short video above shows how Timbren's axleless suspension works. AEON progressive-rate main springs absorb road shock and support trailer's load while delivering a smooth, stable ride, regardless of load size. They compress and become stiffer as load increases, boosting spring strength. Rebound springs act as return devices to minimize rattle and bottoming out creating constant pressure on the arm, so the suspension is never completely relaxed.
