Extended Drawbar with Huge Storage Box

  • The aluminium drawbar box is custom made and is the full width of the camper, and big enough for a second fridge, Portaloo, chairs, tables etc

Great Standard inclusions

  • We include all you need to just pack your things and go! The cooktop (with grill), the fridge, 90L of water, roof racks, all LED lights, even the Anderson plug to charge the battery while you travel!

Storage and more storage

  • ​As the Tsumami/Typhoon are the largest teardrop style campers in the class, we can offer more storage. More in the galley where it really counts, as well as now there is a huge locker at the forward end of the queen size bed (built outside but accessed from inside) as well as to the rear of the cabin.

Timbren “Axleless” suspension?

No two people are the same nor are their needs for suspensions. It all depends on where you want to go? The Beach, the bush or all around Australia?

At Riptide Campers we give you the option of ride height with Timbren's Award Winning Axleless suspension. The Tsunami can be ordered with 2 different height Timbren suspensions. The standard height is perfectly paired for the SUV market – Subaru Forester/Outback, RAV4 etc. For more clearance add a 4” lift for more adventures.

The short video above shows how Timbren's axleless suspension works. AEON progressive-rate main springs absorb road shock and support trailer's load while delivering a smooth, stable ride, regardless of load size. They compress and become stiffer as load increases, boosting spring strength. Rebound springs act as return devices to minimize rattle and bottoming out creating constant pressure on the arm, so the suspension is never completely relaxed.
